It is generally considered as a lose-lose type of situation when encountering horses eating trash out of dumpsters. Is it healthy or nourishing to eat trash. Were the horses hungry or used to eating trash. Survival mode enabled or a good meal. Was the dumpster a win for the horses. The need to categorize in good or bad, win or loose is not a necessity to qualify as new or unknown. The horses and the trash were just existent creating an obscure and unusual interaction.
